Christ being placed in the tomb by kassor Christ being placed in the tomb by kassor
Unfinished sketching of "Christ being placed in the tomb" of the artist Nicolas Tournier. (17 th century).

Base CANSON paper and all charcoal.

Rather large research related to the church of the Black Penitents and the Battle of the red rocks necessitating multiple libraries join in order to read true writings and improve the construction of the scenario.
All books are not findable on the internet.

Certain details of the master painting had to be modified for an adaptation to the project 49.
The symbolic Tournier, the drapery and the addition of two characters in the background.

One of the biggest expansions Major.C on the chiaroscuro and his personal view during his suffering in Battlesuit.

This sketch was drawn face painting master Nicolas Tournier sat on the floor, standing, sitting, standing, sitting etc..
A professional copyist was performing for a client seriously a reduced size oil painting.
Thank you to him for ideas exchanged on the feeling of the vision of Tournier and sharing of cultures.

A truly impressive painting but damaged.
The research mediaeval existents stayed incomplete this work stayed in boxes with the scenario.
